Accented by gold-filled chains, colorful stones, feminine filigree drops, and hammered geometric shapes, Kristen's jewelry offers the perfect blend of fashion-forward yet classic pieces for every wardrobe. Not to mention she is a local designer, here in Chicago, Illinois. I put a lot of time and energy (maybe too much) into thinking about and planning my wardrobe. What makes my clothing style unique, so I have been told, is that I rely heavily on dresses for much of my wardrobe. I have casual dresses, work dresses, and fancier dresses taking up most of my closet. I'm also not afraid of color, and usually shy away from black and gray, unless the piece has something special about it, like a pretty ruffle or ruching.

My style is unique because it is personal. It is tailored (pun intended) to my quirky, fun-loving personality. I mix prints in the same color family and only wear what looks good on me and on my body, regardless of what the trends are. Style is half fashion and half confidence. If you're wearing something that fits you, suits your personality, and gives you confidence, you can't go wrong.

What makes my style unique is that I like to mix vintage and cultural styles with classic and high fashion style. For example, I have been wearing Pendleton blanket accessories since before "Pendleton meets opening ceremony" was created. I also love incorporating vintage Burberry and Chanel pieces into my wardrobe!

I like to make people smile, my sense of style is defined by that aesthetic, whether it be polkadots or rainbow barf; and since I make most of my jewelry and some of my clothes, I get to customize it right down to the details.

I have several "good" wardrobe pieces that I can mix up to make a totally new look - I have a lot of unique (don't see everywhere) accessories that I love to showcase and that I change out depending on my given mood - some of my purses and jewelry is very colorful - others are muted or funky in style. I am open and explore with overlapping colors and patterns too. eclectic and fun!!!

I have several "good" wardrobe pieces that I like to interchange to create new and fun looks - my colorful or heavy patterned accessories are what help me achive a unique look. Purses, jewelry, shoes with splashes of color here and there punch up my outfits. I love leggings and knee length skirts (I'm very tall so these flatter me more) I love a variety of textures, but not too overdone with different swatches..my look is electic yet elegant..chic yet simple

I like to think that my style is elegant but not fussy, feminine but workplace-appropriate. I try to combine high- and low-end and the trendy and the classic. As I've gotten older, I can identify what will work for me and what won't.

Thanks,

I would have to say what makes my personal sense of style so unique is the fact that I don't confirm to traditional must have items that everyone has to have. I have always had my own unique style that has always kept people telling me wow you look beautiful, I Love that outfit. Bet they wish they knew that I probably paid less for the entire outfit including shoes, then they did on either their top, bottoms, or shoes. lol I am a smart shopper and love getting great deals on items I love. More times than I can remember I have put outfits together including the shoes for under $25.

I would say the uniqueness of my style comes from my tendency to wear what looks interesting to my eyes that day...so some days I am matching to the tee and completely "put together" while other days an unmatching sweater and skirt will be calling my name. I try not to think about trends as they come and go. Oh and I NEVER wear pants or jeans, I just don't ever seem to love them or the way the feel on!

My sense of style is unique because I like to find one of a kind pieces during, perhaps, a trip, like flea markets, Portobello road, artisan fairs, etc...and mix it with high end boutiques latest fashion. Also, when it comes to jewelry, every time I buy a piece of I think about long term because, when I adore a piece, I treasure it.
Thanks!

What makes my personal style unique is that I am a bit schizo in my fashion choices! One day I'll be dressed up in a vintage 50's dress and heels, and the next day I may look like a punk with studded skin tight jeans and a leather jacket. I'm not afraid to take risks with my wardrobe and I LOVE to stand out in a crowd! :)

I guess what makes my sense of style unique is that I dress for me and only me. A lot of stay at home moms dress for their kids & comfort, but dressing cute, sparkly and put together is "me"! If I were to dress in sweats or without jewelry all of the time just for practicality, I just wouldn't be staying true to myself and probably would be a very unhappy mommy to boot!

I'm at a tricky time of life for style: popping out babies. I hate the idea of having three separate wardrobes: maternity, breastfeeding/postpartum, and "normal" or in-between. So I have given a LOT of thought to integrating these three wardrobes as far as possible. My style therefore is uniquely wearable and stylish no matter what size I am...
